Diet should be varied and balances, this is essential for healthy living for both man and women, but healthy eating diet differs, depending upon the gender. There are foods that both men and women both should be eating more, but man and women have their own need of dietary requirements as per their unique health concern and requirements. Listing down below are three foods which are beneficial and essential for men to eat as they benefit the special needs and requirements of the men.

Tomatoes:

This fruit is known as the possible super-food. Tomatoes are used in most of delicacies we make or even in salads or fast food item we have. But eating raw tomatoes is very beneficial. There have been studies conducted which showed that the lycopene that is found in tomatoes helps in reducing risks of colorectal cancer and also lows cholesterol and in turn also reduces the risk of heart related diseases. Even other food items which have lycopene should be consumed as these foods have shown in research to reduce the risks of development of prostate cancer.

Oysters:

Well eating oysters is very good for man, as the oysters have high source of zinc. This is essential nutrient requirement for fertility and the sexual health of men. Zinc plays in maintaining the healthy level of the male hormone that is the testosterone and also keeps healthy production of the sperm in man. And if there is hair loss in man then it could also be because of deficiency of the zinc mineral. Zinc is good for men’s personal appearance and for well being of health.

Men are at risk of many disorders and diseases, and their need for certain nutrients and minerals is more as compared to women.

Broccoli:Broccoli

Broccoli is very good leafy vegetable that should be eaten in form of soup etc. broccoli, sprouts and cabbage are cruciferous vegetables. These have chemical sulphoraphane which is good in fighting with cancer. The broccoli has shown in research to reduce risk of development of bladder cancer, colorectal cancer and the prostate cancer. Broccoli should be eaten regularly as it reduces men’s risk.
